KOM evokes the kōm, a mound in the Egyptian archaeological landscape: a place where time accumulates through traces, fragments and buildings.
For the studio, this image becomes an approach to design: reading what exists, understanding its material, and adding a new layer. A dialogue between memory and transformation, and between Italian and Egyptian culture.
